What is Praiseworks?
PraiseWorks has proven to be one of the most innovative youth worship events, equipping future worship leaders with hands-on knowledge and giving them a place to discover and develop their God-given abilities. In the past years, this week-long event on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University has hosted some of the best and brightest as they have connected with friends and learned what it means to worship.
PraiseWorks is planned as a ministry of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, as a result of the Cooperative Program.
Worship
The purpose of PraiseWorks is to equip worshippers and worship leaders with a biblical understanding of worship, both individually and corporately and to provide instruction and the opportunity to implement this instruction in areas of worship leadership.
Creative Arts
Worship through instruments, vocals, speach, drama, interpretive movement, photography, technical skills, and many other areas are a focus for our PraiseWorks tracks! We desire to equip students in all areas of worship leadership as they use their talents and abilities to serve God through the ministries of their local church.
Equipping
We desire to see God glorified through biblical worship, expressed individually and corporately. Equipping the saints for the work of the minstry has become the heartbeat of PraiseWorks and it is our joy to partner with local churches in fulfilling this purpose through the body of Christ.
